1966 Richard Schultz Leisure Collection

Here is a beautiful set of two vintage MCM outdoor lounge chairs part of the sought after "1966 Leisure Collection" designed by Richard Schultz and manufactured by Knoll in the USA in the 1970's.
These chairs received a complete restoration:
The cast aluminum frames were sand blasted, zinc primed and powder coated in orange by North County Powder Coating in September 2024.
The slings were custom made in SoCal using the finest of material including Gore Tenara sewing thread (resistant to sunlight exposure, saltwater, harsh chemicals, pollution and extreme temperatures without fading or deteriorating) , Twitchell wicker weave fabric (mildew & fade resistant vinyl coated woven polyester) and commercial grade resin base extruded vinyl with UV stabilization and mold inhibitors.
The slings were sprayed with 303 Marine Aerospace Protectant which provides an extra superior UV protection, repels dust, dirt, and staining.
Excellent condition.
